15-17 July 2011
Gastronomic programme:
Gastronomic adventures at the Rendek Eco Farm in the middle of a charming garden of organic fruits and vegetables. Opportunity to taste the specialities of the Kunság cooked by some of the country's top chefs and to wander around in the Kunság market selling local organic produce. Tradition, local flavours, meeting with regional exponents of handcrafted foodstuffs and Hungarian gastronomy.
You will not be disappointed!
We blend Slow Food with Slow Culture through music.
The 110 year-old Romanesque - Eclectic Calvinist church of Kunpuszta, which is a part of Hungary's protected cultural heritage, will serve as an excellent venue for the concerts. The series of concerts will offer a magical blend of jazz, etno and classical music.
Buses and cars can be left in the parking lot of the Kunsági Major, and visitors will be taken to Rendek Eco Farm by a horse-drawn carriage (for environmental reasons).
The church of Kunpuszta is located on the way to the eco farm.

From the Catholic church of Kerekegyháza continue towards Szabadszállás and follow the painted wooden signboards pointing you to the direction of the eco farm and farm museum (Ökogazdaság - Tanyamúzeum).3-4 kilometres after Kerekegyháza you will arrive to a simple white signboard with an arrow signalling the way to the church of Kunpuszta.
On the right side of the road you will see the horses and horse tracks of the farm-stead (Kunsági Major). Continue on the dirt road followed by an asphalt road and then a dirt road again.
Now you will be able to see the charming little church building, where all our family members have been christened.
After passing by the church continue on the road lined with locust-trees, which fill the air with their sweet scent in springtime, protect travellers from the scorching sun in summer, and show the way in winter.
Soon you will see a welcoming wooden signboard on your right with our name (Ökogazdaság - Tanyamúzeum) and logo.
After a short, one-minute ride you will arrive. Welcome to our farm!
